In 2002 K.FAKHAR and P.BERNARD set up in Rabat (the Moroccan Capital) a workshop for every sort of art creation.

The idea was to create a place with necessary materials and equipments for all creation of our time: painting, sculpture, computer graphics, Video (Broadcast shooting and editing) and photography. So far the activities don’t stop but is taking a special path witch gather all this techniques and supports in one act of creation: contemporary art.

Close from the masters of the 17^th 18^th

>>  The majority part of my painting are “Super Size” and takes a long time for the preparation, realization and drying. I’m working with oil painting all the time, sometimes I use acrylic painting but I do prefer to be very close from the masters of the 17^th 18^th centuries, so there is no way except working by oil painting.

I use all the materials that I find close to me, sometimes I spend many hours in forest, beaches, in country side of morocco, in the desert……. In my esthetical research everything may be useful, and could be a part of art creation, it depends in one thing:  Me.

More life for creation...

>>  In order to give more life to colours and paintings it’s necessary for me to use photography and computer graphics, by focusing on some specific details of my works. Once you explore, you find new techniques for colours mixing, the computer give me the opportunity to explore thousands of colours that let me find and create new colours formulas.

Photography is for immobilizing the tiny details of my painting, and every detail may be a new project.

Another space, another geography...

>>  For me to film is « repainting » the world, Objects that constitute our world change their contexts and thus they have another maiming,

To film is capturing some life sequences, to capture is to cut out everything witch is Immaterial, the game here doesn’t stop only in colours frontiers. We belong to another space, another geography: the sequences that I shoot are only images of the reality not the reality itself; they become part of the materials that I can use in my art.

Everything is white by the beginning...

>>  Among the biggest moment is editing ( non linear), compose & build like I’m working in one of my abstract painting. Everything is white by the beginning, and then we need colours, textures and smells...i can go through others by filming them, and I can tell their stories by editing, and I forget them, I forget the world when I start painting.
